Welcome to DBMX!
Doncaster BMX Racing Club is a friendly club open to all situated in Balby, Doncaster, promoting and developing the sport of BMX racing in South Yorkshire.
British Cycling affiliated, we are part of the Midlands Region of BMX Clubs.
Doncaster BMX was formed in 2010 and during its short history has produced National Champions that have gone on to ride at World and European levels. We've also produced lots of riders that just love the sport, and build confidence, fitness, and friendships through BMX.
The track is on private land and closed to the general public and can only be ridden during club sessions.
Investment in 2021 has seen the track fully floodlit meaning that it can be used all year round.

BMX started in the early 1970s when children began racing their bicycles on dirt tracks in Southern California, drawing inspiration from the motocross superstars of the time. Since then the sport has grown and BMX racing became a medal sport at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Gold and Silver medals were won by GB BMX stars Beth Shriever and Kye Whyte at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
BMX racing is all action excitement, great for fitness, with low entry costs, and accessible to all, any age, male or female. A way of life, BMX is very social and perfect for the whole family to enjoy, offering mental and physical wellbeing.
